Ann Arbor Riverside Park Open Again
Updated: Jun 19, 2019
As of June 18th, 2019, the Ann Arbor Riverside Park boardwalk portion of the Border-to-Border Trail, between Wall Street and Pontiac Trail, has reopened! A repair project that began in February is now complete and the barriers have been removed. A generous grant from the Washtenaw County Parks & Recreation Commission helped pay for 50 percent of the construction costs.
Please note the new boardwalk segment is the first of two needed B2B Trail improvements to Ann Arbor's Riverside Park. The second phase will be a asphalt surface replacement, and widening (to 10 feet), of the B2B path with construction taking place in September or October. This is also funded with the help of the Washtenaw County Parks & Recreation Commission.
